Dear Visitor,
Randy has dedicated significant time and effort to improving himself through educational advancement and creative expression. He holds a Paralegal/Legal Assistant diploma from Blackstone Career Institute, and has earned certificates from multiple educational programs while on Polunsky Unit’s Death Row.
Randy’s written work is available to read under the Journals, Memoirs, Creative Works tabs. He has always enjoyed writing to express his creativity, and also as a means of therapy. His journals, ongoing since 2005, have allowed his friends and supporters to keep up with his life, as well as chart the growth and maturity that has bloomed in Randy over the years. He has also chosen to write about his life as part of his 'giving back,' in the hope that others can learn from his experiences and how to avoid making the mistakes he did.
It is Randy's wish for his readers to know that he does not view his writing as 'prison poetry,' nor does he wish to see it referred to as 'prison poetry.' It's HIS own work and stands alone as art in its own right. He is not tethered to prison, especially when he writes, and his writing is an expression of freedom.
We thank you for taking an interest in Randy's life, his achievements, and his work.
